The highly anticipated Terminal Music Weekend day one – Grown and sexy concert kicked off with a bang. American artists Keri Hilson, Horace Brown, Bobby Valentino, Kenyan singers Chemutai Sage, June Gichui and Habida were the show’s headliners at the KICC on Friday night.
The show saw thousands of revellers show up to the concert among them the whois who in the Kenyan entertainment industry including Media personality Amina Abdi, Lola Hannigan,Chris and Cate Kirwa, Celebrity publicist Anyiko Awoko, Tv Anchor Michelle Morgan, Ali of Kiza Lounge, musician Madtraxx as well as Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja.
While Kenyan musicians Chemutai Sage and June Gachui gave their all on stage, Habida whose husband was the organiser of the event, gave a shoddy performance which earned her jeers and booes from the party goers. This was especially after Dj Stylez hyped the crowd up for Keri Kilson but instead out came Habida, who did not do much to impress as she performed some of her new songs such as I am and the older ones like Sunshine for almost an hour with many terming it as the worst performance of the night.
Habida can’t sing nor perform for shit! And she insisted to be the second last act of the night before Keri Hilson! People are so bored they’re boo’ing her off stage! 🤦🏾♀️ #TerminalMusicWeekend

Then in came Keri Hilson at almost 4am who blew the crowd away with her voice as she sung some of her hit songs like Energy, Knock you down, Turning me on, I like and Pretty girl rock. Her dance moves which wowed the male audience as well as asking some female fans to come on stage to dance.
Miss Keri Baby’s American counterparts Horace Brown and Bobby Valentino did a good job of taking the audience down through memory lane with some of their famous old time hits such as One for the money and Slow down.
After all is said and done, the Terminal Music Weekend was a concert worth the money and writing home about.
