The 21st Edition of the Koroga festival was up to the rhythm in celebration for the #QueensRock edition. The festival which is brought by Capital FM celebrates the greatest African acts from around the continent, food & culture and had a large number of female attendees turning up to celebrate the fete!
The two-day event that began on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th was graced by both local and international artists. Some of the artistes who performed at the festival include Sage, Mercy Masika, Nokwazi from South Africa, and of course the queen herself Yemi Alade.
DJ Stretch took the lead in the DJ line up followed by DJ Jo Kisila, DJ Malaika and to cream it DJ Mellow who gave the crowd the mellow experience. Saturday was surely just a party starter, Sunday was the long awaited day.
Mercy Masika made a great spirit-lifting performance on stage as she gave people a taste of her music from way back when she began her journey.

Connoisseurs got a chance to enjoy the mastery that goes into Singleton with its three well-balanced and carefully crafted variants; The Singleton of Dufftown, The Singleton Tailfire and The Singleton Sunray.
It was a one-of-a-kind whisky tasting experience with Singleton-infused ice-cream and food.
The spark of the event was definitely Yemi Alade’s performance. Yemi Alade did not fail her fans, she delivered an electrifying performance that had the crowd move and sing along to her songs.
She has also been featured on Coke Studio every year for the past five years and she also has something fresh to bring to the show. She just released her brand new album ‘Black Magic’ and from the response so far, especially from the Koroga festival, the only way is up for this fierce Queen!
